Onze exclusieve legeringen die worden gebruikt voor Cobalt Slinky, M-Steel Slinky en Aluminium Bronze snaren worden volgens onze exacte specificaties gesmelt om optimale prestaties en consistentie te garanderen.
Onze snaren zijn gemaakt met de beste en meest verse grondstoffen die zijn gekozen op basis van veeleisende toleranties om optimale consistentie en performance te garanderen. Snaren bestaan uit draad met een fijne diameter die op spoelen wordt geleverd. Elk type string bestaat uit een specifieke combinatie van draadmaterialen en -formaten.
Gitaar en bas ball uiteinden zijn gemaakt met behulp van koperen walsdraad. Het messing wordt machinaal bewerkt en op exacte specificaties gesneden om een precieze pasvorm en functie te garanderen. De ball uiteinden worden vervolgens ontbraamd, schoongemaakt en geïnspecteerd voordat ze klaar zijn voor gebruik.
Wound snaren bestaan uit een kern en een wikkellaag. De kernen worden vervaardigd door hexagonaal gevormd draad op lengte te snijden en het ene uiteinde te draaien met een specifieke vorm en een twist count om een kogeleind te bevestigen. Eenmaal gemaakt, worden de kernen geladen op opwindmachines die de kern draaien terwijl een constante wikkeling van wikkeldraad rond de kern wordt gelegd.
Gecoate snaren worden behandeld met behulp van onze eigen gepatenteerde nanotechnologie. Snaren worden verpakt in bundels en in kamers geladen om zo het snaaroppervlak voor te bereiden en de behandeling toepassen.
Alle grondstoffen en snaren moeten een inspectieproces doorlopen met meerdere checkpoints. Onze snaren worden herhaaldelijk geïnspecteerd tijdens de productie- en verpakkingsprocessen.
Ernie Ball snaren worden afzonderlijk opgerold en verpakt in overeenstemming met de specifieke Slinky gauge vereisten. De Slinky sets worden vervolgens verwerkt en in luchtdichte, individuele folieverpakkingen verpakt.
Snaren worden verpakt met ons Element Shield design: ondoordringbare folie die is ingepakt en afgedicht om ervoor te zorgen dat sets worden voorzien van maximale bescherming.
Verpakte snaren worden gecontroleerd op een kwaliteitszegel met behulp van een waterkamer onder druk, die de packs aan een verhoogde mate van spanning over elke afdichting onderwerpt. Dit verzekert de volledige luchtdichtheid van de pakketten en de optimale kwaliteit van de verzegeling.
Eenmaal verpakt en geïnspecteerd, worden de snaren in dozen gestoken en verzonden om door muzikanten over de hele wereld bespeeld te worden.
